Helen is double Olympic Champion, having won gold in the Women’s pair with Heather Stanning at both London 2012 and Rio 2016.
After stepping away from rowing to get married and have three children, Helen returned to the team in 2021 and made history when she became the first mother to compete for the GB Rowing Team at an Olympic Games, finishing fourth in the Women’s pair with Polly Swann at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Games.
Having won a silver at the 2023 European Rowing Championships and bronze at the 2023 World Championships in the Women’s four, Helen set her sights on becoming the first British mum-of-three to win an Olympic medal.
She achieved this at Paris 2024, winning a superb silver in the Women’s four with Esme Booth, Sam Redgrave, and Rebecca Shorten.
Double Olympic Champion, three-times World Champion, four-times European Champion and multiple world cup gold-medal winner – Helen Glover is one of the most decorated athletes in the GB Rowing Team.
