U19 Trials

Information about registration for Great Britain Junior/U19 trials

Any U19 rower with the ambition to gain GB selection must be a British citizen and have a current British Rowing RACE membership, or Scottish Rowing equivalent.  U19 rowers must be registered with the GB Rowing Team U19 Programme by their coach, who must themselves be registered.  Rowers cannot register themselves.

Full eligibility criteria will be sent to all coaches registered for the GB Rowing Team Under 19 Programme. Coach registration for the 2025 season is OPEN.  To request the registration information please e-mail [email protected]

The trial process is a combination of compulsory land based and water based assessments throughout the season and rowers and coaches must meet the necessary criteria to be considered for selection. Information about each assessment is sent out to registered coaches of those rowers involved in that assessment.

Coaches can contact [email protected] with any questions about the process.

Coaches wishing to enter rowers into J16 Trials for the GB v France Match do not need to register as a GB Rowing Team Junior Coach.

Rower Registration

U19 triallists must be registered with the GB U19 Programme by a registered coach. Coaches should contact [email protected] if they wish to receive information about registration for the 2024 season.
