Check out our rowing activities for National Fitness Day 2020!

National Fitness Day took place on Wednesday 23 September and saw people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities come together to celebrate everything about fitness. To play our part in the celebrations, we put together a packed day of free activities which you can still make the most of now!



  • We held a LIVE evening workout with ROWBOTS Head Trainer, Pelé, which you can watch back here. You need absolutely zero equipment to take part in this full body sweat workout, so get involved and let us know how you get on in the comments!
  • British Rowing and ROWBOTS are also running a special discount all week, giving you 20% off classes and packages – simply use code BRITISHROWING20 (code expires 27 September).

Rowing as Cross-Training with ultrarunner Susie Chan

  • We were also joined by ultrarunner and Mizuno athlete, Susie Chan, as she tried out a LIVE rowing workout alongside British Rowing Master Trainer, Clare Holman! The rowing and circuit based workout is available to watch back here and is ideal for athletes from all sports looking for low-impact fitness and strength & conditioning. It’s also perfect for those new to rowing, so give it a try if you’re getting to grips with the sport for the first time.
