Further Adventurer Series challenges announced
In week 2 of the Adventurer Series we’re off to Egypt for three laps of the base of the Great Pyramid
Our Adventurer Series kicked off last week with a trip to Paris for a race around the Champs-Élysées and our grand tour of the world continues with a trip to Egypt for Pyramid Circuits. Stage 2’s challenge is to race three laps around the Great Pyramid: 2,764m. Same as last week, you can choose to row, run or walk the challenge and upload your time to the Challenge Hub.
Challenge 2 of the series will close on midnight, Wednesday 3 February. Stage 1 (Élysées Champs) of the tour is still open for entries too and will close next Wednesday (27 January).

Challenge 1 – Élysées Champs, France
Closes – midnight, 27 January
Week 1 of the British Rowing Adventurer Series takes us to Paris and the famous Champs-Élysées, home to the finish of the Tour de France. Row or run the 1910m from the Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe.
Challenge 2 – Pyramid Circuits, Egypt
Closes – midnight, 3 February
The second week of our Adventurer Series takes us to Egypt and the Great Pyramid. Row, run or walk three laps of the base of the pyramid – 2,764m.
Challenge 3 – Machu Picchu Head, Peru
Opens – 28 January
Closes – midnight, 10 February
The third week of our Adventurer Series takes us to Peru and the incredible city of Machu Picchu. Row, run or walk up to the altitude of the Machu Picchu – 2,430m above sea level.
Challenge 4 – Head of the Golden Gate Bridge, USA
Opens – 3 February
Closes – midnight, 17 February
We’re sticking with the Americas it but it’s up to the USA for week 4 of our Adventurer Series. It’s off to San Fransisco and a race across the length of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Challenge 5 – Kili Challenge, Tanzania
Opens – 10 February
Closes – midnight, 24 February
It’s a longer challenge this week as our Adventurer Series moves to Africa – it’s a race up to height of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania – how quickly can you get up the 5,895m?
