British Rowing launches Facebook group for grassroots volunteers
With the Olympics and the Paralympic Games just around the corner, British Rowing are delighted to announce the launch of a Facebook group for volunteers. The group has been created to provide grassroots volunteers a forum where they can interact with one another, network, ask questions and raise any queries they may have.
Accompanying the Time for Tokyo Guide, the Facebook group has been set up to help clubs maximise the benefits from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
On the launch of the Facebook group, Head of Community and Development, Paul Lorenzato said: “Often clubs face similar challenges, so having a forum where clubs can communicate with one another and help each other out is really useful. It’s great to add this to our suite of tools and resources that affiliated clubs can access.”
