British Rowing technique webinars
Registration is now open for a series of three webinars designed for rowers and coaches about the updated British Rowing Technical Model
The British Rowing Technical Model is designed for rowers of all abilities and is used by the GB Rowing Team. It’s based on the principle of maximising ‘distance per stroke’ through:
- Power application
- Moving with the boat
- Moving as a crew.
These components are explained in three new videos, which are available now – exclusively to British Rowing members – in RowHow.
We’re also running a series of three webinars, one on each component, for rowers, coaches and coxes, to explore the model in more depth. Attendees will also be given access to extended versions of the videos including interviews from GB Rowing Team athletes, who explain how they have used the model successfully in their rowing.
Each webinar will last an hour and half, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
