Applications are now open for the GB Rowing Team J16 Crew Sculling Camp
Coaches and athletes can also register now for the J16 Coaches’ Meeting and the J16 Virtual Camp
The J16 Crew Sculling Camp is the first opportunity for athletes to work with the GB Rowing Team in a camp environment. One of the strengths of this camp is that rowers can row in crew boats with others outside of their own club/school environment. This – coupled with the experience of being coached by coaches other than their own – has been shown to be a catalyst for improvement.
Dates: Saturday, 30 March – Monday, 1 April 2024
Location: The National Watersports Centre, Nottingham
Cost: £325 including accommodation and meals.
The deadline for applications is Friday, 1 March 2024.
Applicants need to provide a written statement of why they would like to attend. This will be used by the GB Rowing Team to make invitation decisions as places are limited.

J16 online Coaches’ Meeting – Monday, 11 March at 1930
This online meeting is for coaches only.
The first part of this session will focus on the potential of this year’s J16 rowers and what can be done to best prepare and support them for their J17 season and beyond. The second part will be made up of questions that you have posed before or during the meeting.
J16 Virtual Camp – Sunday, 17 March, 1400-1800
This free, online session is for athletes and coaches.
