Following discussions with Jersey Rowing Club and other stakeholders, it has been decided to move the 2024 British Rowing Offshore Championships to later in the year in order to give more people the opportunity to race.

2024 is the first year that the Offshore Championships are to be held on a separate date and at a separate location to the Beach Sprint Championships. It is positive that the coastal rowing calendar is now growing rapidly and we are conscious that finding a date to suit all is not easy, but we want to create the best possible racing experience for our entrants.

On the originally published dates (1-2 June), Jersey Rowing Club will offer alternative racing and individuals who had already made plans to travel to Jersey will be very welcome to take part. The Club will kindly look to accommodate competitors in their own boats.

Options to reschedule the 2024 British Rowing Offshore Championships to the Autumn are being investigated and further information on the competition will be published shortly. All entries made to date will be refunded in full in the meantime.

The Championships will be working closely alongside Swift Racing who will be able to provide boats for hire to competitors.
