Entries open on 17 June on BROE for the England Rowing trial on Saturday, 13 July at The National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont Country Park, Nottingham for Home International Rowing Regatta (HIRR) selection

The 2024 Home International Rowing Regatta – between the Home Countries of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland – will take place on Saturday, 27 July at Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell, Scotland.

In 2023, the England Rowing HIRR team made history as the first team to retain all four trophies. The team will look to continue their winning streak this year.

Entries for crews and registration for coaches will open at 12:00 (noon) on Monday, 17 June and close at 12:00 (noon) Thursday, 11 July on BROE.

The England Team will comprise 64 athletes and 8 coaches, as follows:

  • Junior Women:  4 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain, 2 Coaches
  • Junior Men: 4 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain, 2 Coaches
  • Senior Women: 2 Para Scullers (1 PR1/PR2 and 1 PR3), 1 Lightweight Sculler, 3 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain, 2 Coaches (Plus additional Coaches as required for Para Scullers)
  • Senior Men: 2 Para Scullers (1 PR1/PR2 and 1 PR3),1 Lightweight Sculler, 3 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain, 2 Coaches (Plus additional Coaches as required for Para Scullers)

All athletes will race a minimum of twice with the majority racing three times.

Eligible* crews, scullers and coaches can seek selection for the England Team via these open trials. Some junior boats will be selected via Under 19 GB Rowing Team Crew Formation.
