Jennifer Thomson appointed to World Rowing Events Commission
Scottish Rowing and World Rowing umpire Jennifer Thomson has been appointed to the World Rowing Events Commission, whose remit is to establish and monitor the standards of international regattas and of all World Rowing events
British World Rowing umpire John Hedger has stepped down from the Events Commission. Guin Batten has joined the Executive Committee, from which Rosie Mayglothling has stepped down.
Jen’s appointment adds to an already impressive roster of British representation at World Rowing covering 9 of its 13 Commissions as well as the World Rowing Executive Committee and Council and European Rowing. Other Britons who are members of these are:
