British Rowing and Concept2 renew partnership
The partnership will see Concept2 support British Rowing’s aims to make rowing accessible for all and deliver at the highest level of competition

British Rowing is excited to announce a renewed partnership with Concept2 through to 2029.
The partnership will support the sport of rowing from grassroots right up to the highest level of competition. Concept2 will continue to be the official Performance Rowing Machine of British Rowing and an official supplier to the GB Rowing Team and Performance Pathway, providing world-class equipment from rowing machines to oars.
Concept2 will also continue to be a pivotal supporter in British Rowing’s Sport England strategic participation work, helping build new rowing programmes and events across England and breaking further barriers to access to indoor rowing equipment. This will enable more people to have a chance to access a rowing opportunity or unique moment in the sport for the very first time.
On top of this, Concept2 will continue on as an event partner and support the delivery of the British Rowing Indoor Championships and Super Sprint Sunday (6-7 December 2025, Birmingham) which opened for entries last month. With this, participants and clubs will also have the opportunity to take home a brand new Concept2 from the race floor with a 10% discount.
Chris Farrell, Head of Community at British Rowing, said: “British Rowing is really proud to continue partnering with Concept2. We have a long-standing successful relationship, both working together at international level with the GB Rowing Team, as well as at grassroots level within our strategic and community participation work. This includes the ongoing, brilliant support of the British Rowing Indoor Championships and other indoor rowing events nationally.
“The team at Concept2 continue to be extremely supportive of our work in developing the sport of rowing, both indoor and on the water, and I am really looking forward to the continuation of this partnership which will enable us to drive forward with creating new programmes, supporting our existing pathways and events, and making rowing more accessible to everyone.”
Alex Dunne, Managing Director at Concept2, said: “We are delighted to renew our partnership with British Rowing for another four years. At Concept2, we are committed to supporting rowers at every level, from grassroots participation to elite performance. This continued collaboration allows us to provide world-class equipment to the GB Rowing Team and Performance Pathway while also expanding access to rowing through British Rowing’s strategic participation initiatives. We’re proud to play a role in making rowing more inclusive and accessible, and we look forward to continuing to support key events such as the British Rowing Indoor Championships.”
