Public Liability cover levels to increase from 1 April 2025

The cover level for British Rowing members, Affiliation Plus clubs and affiliated competitions and tours will increase to £15 million

Every year, British Rowing arranges Public and Products Liability insurance for its members*, for clubs who have chosen Affiliation Plus, and for affiliated competitions and tours.

Starting from 1 April 2025, when the policy renews, the level of Public and Products Liability cover will increase to £15 million from £10 million. There is no additional cost to members, clubs or competitions and tours for this beyond the fees already announced for 1 April onwards.

This change has been made to ensure that members clubs, competitions and tours have sufficient cover to meet the level of claims being seen.

*Race, Row, Coach, Umpire and Life members, and Day Ticket holders on the day of competition only.
