Session Coach to Club Coach bridging course. Peterborough City Rowing Club, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September, 09:00-17:00.

What you'll learn:. The Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Rowing (sliding seat) is the first award for coaching individuals on the water. It is aimed at beginner coaches, and is applicable to coaches working with all groups, from novices to competent rowers. The award focuses on developing three coaching behaviours:
- Having a concern for standards
- Being a rower-focussed coach
- Looking to develop continually as a coach.
Who can attend: This course has been developed for coaches who have successfully completed the Session Coach Award and are ready to make the next step and qualify as a Club Coach.
Note: Coaches have 2 years from certification as a Session Coach to the start of the first day of the Session Coach to Club Coach Course to be eligible to take part in this course. Once this 2 year period has elapsed, coaches should register for the full Club Coach Course.
