Carnegie Rowing honours Triggs Hodge

Leeds Carnegie Rowing has named the GB Rowing Team’s Andrew Triggs Hodge as its Honorary Captain – presenting the double Olympic gold medallist with a training kit last week.

Following Triggs Hodge’s gold medal-winning performance with the Men’s Eight at the second World Rowing Cup, Carnegie Rowing’s Head Coach Laura Richardson delivered the club’s kit to the Yorkshire-born rower at Eton Dorney.

Richardson set up Carnegie Rowing at Leeds Metropolitan University last year, and the club now boasts more than 20 members who compete at regattas across the country.
