GB Rowing Team get behind The Big Row
GB Rowing Team boats will display their support for Love Rowing’s The Big Row at this weekend’s World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland
The GB Rowing Team boats will carry branding in support of The Big Row when they take to the water in Lucerne for this weekend’s World Rowing Cup. The Big Row is the new annual fundraiser for Love Rowing, helping support sharing the incredible benefits of rowing to wider and more diverse groups around the UK. Each of the ten GB Rowing Team crews racing will carry branding promoting the campaign on their bow and stern canvases.
The Big Row will see rowers around the country form one giant rowing crew to row from London to Tokyo and then back to Paris during the week of 28 June to 4 July – a whopping 19,271 km in total – to celebrate the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Getting involved in The Big Row is simple – you can choose your own challenge. It could be time or distance based, individual or with your crew/ club mates, over one day or a full week, on water or indoor. If you’re feeling brave you could even target a record attempt! You can take part at home, online, in school or at your club or gym.
Whatever you decide for your challenge, you can then raise funds through sponsorship using your personalised fundraising page and help more people experience the benefits of rowing.
