📣 The Role

In the voluntary role of Beach Coordinator, you will form part of the management committee responsible for the organisation of training, selection trials and competition preparation relating to the Great Britain Beach Sprints Team for the 2022 season. Your specific role will be to manage the beach environments used by the team for training and competition, coordinating volunteers and advising/supporting with areas relating to safety, boat handling and course setting.

👋 About You

We are looking for a Beach Coordinator who is willing to be hands-on and coordinate boat handling, course setup and safety arrangements for the GB Beach Sprint Team. You’ll be an effective communicator able to inspire and enable a range of volunteers to make sure trials and camps run safely.

The position of Beach Coordinator, GB Beach Sprint Team is a voluntary position. As part of our offer to you, you’ll be given British Rowing Coach membership and you’ll be supported through opportunities to gain experiential learning. For example, this may include joining British Rowing Coaches Question Time or access to other professional development. The role is voluntary, reasonable expenses will be covered by British Rowing.
