British Rowing launches ‘Inside Indoor’: The ultimate website for indoor rowers
British Rowing is excited to announce the launch of a brand new indoor rowing platform
Today British Rowing officially launched Inside Indoor; an all-inclusive indoor rowing website for all abilities and backgrounds. The website aims to demystify indoor rowing and boost the awareness and engagement of the sport among the health-conscious public in the UK and across the world.
At Inside Indoor, beginners can use our ‘How-To’ page to learn the essentials of indoor rowing, including proper technique and machine setup, while those already familiar with the machine can build on their existing knowledge with a variety of programmes targeted at all abilities. Users will also have access to training plans designed by GB coaches, workout videos, and the ability to join a dedicated online community by taking part in over 20 virtual challenges.
There are subscription options available for anyone who wants to access content on Inside Indoor. Discover is a completely free subscription that gives users a taste of what the site has to offer, while Subscriber offers users unlimited access to all training plans and other resources for a small monthly fee.
The intensive training plans created by GB Rowing Team coaches and master trainers are designed to help users reach their personal fitness goals. With 11 plans to choose from, they range from a 500m beginner programme (an eight-week plan comprising both on and off machine workouts) to the Endurance plan (a twelve-week plan designed for individuals taking on longer indoor rowing distances).

Users can also follow along with master trainers through workout videos; from simple mobility sessions to lung-burning interval workouts, the videos include step-by-step instructions and demonstrations of the exercises, aiding the prevention of injury. With the ability to row the course distances of over 20 locations from around the world in Inside Indoor’s virtual challenges, Inside Indoor offers a fun and engaging way for users to stay motivated and move beyond the screen. Off the machine, Inside Indoor’s nutritional advice helps users make informed choices about what they eat, so they can fuel their bodies for maximum performance.
