New British Rowing member benefits plus an update on membership types
We are introducing two great new offers for British Rowing members and have also redesigned some membership types
New member benefits
We’re excited to announce two major new benefits for all British Rowing members.
JustGo Rewards
British Rowing members can now get discounted access to the ‘perks’ scheme JustGo Rewards.
Members will be able to take out a subscription to JustGo Rewards for an annual fee of just £3.99 (non-member price is £6.99). This gives you some massive discounts at hundreds of high street retailers including Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys, Apple, Currys, Argos, B&Q, Halfords, M&S, John Lewis, Cineworld, Nandos, Miller & Carter, Jet2, National Express, Mountain Warehouse and many more. Spend just £100 on your food shop and you will have recouped the cost of the annual fee!
To sign up, members should log in to the British Rowing membership system and click the Menu icon in the top left hand corner, and then click the new Rewards tile.
Free 60 day access to Strava Subscription worth £18.99
Members can also get a free 60 day trial of Strava Subscription.
Get the link to sign up by going to the British Rowing membership system, then Member Details>Member Benefits>Discounts.
Changes to membership types
British Rowing members have told us that they find the current range of membership options confusing. We’ve listened to this feedback and have redesigned our membership types.
New: Community Membership
We’re replacing a number of our existing membership types with a single, new Community Membership, designed for volunteers and supporters.
Community members support and grow the sport of rowing with us. They also get a host of benefits including:
- Free entry to member-only competitions to win prizes and British Rowing merch
- Our Membership email newsletter
- A discounted subscription to the JustGo Rewards perks scheme for an annual fee of just £3.99 (non-member price is £6.99).
- Free 60 day trial of Strava Subscription worth £18.99.
Members to whom this applies have already been contacted about transitioning on to Community Membership.
Other members don’t need to do anything but if any friends and family are interested in supporting rowing and receiving the benefits of Community Membership, please do encourage them to sign up here!
This is just the first step in a process in developing British Rowing memberships with a focus on adding value.

Umpire and Coach Membership
Support – Umpire Membership will now just be called Umpire Membership.
Umpire and Coach member whose membership auto-renews don’t need to do anything at all. Umpires and Coaches who usually renew manually can do so by selecting the appropriate membership type in the Officials category in the British Rowing membership system next time they renew.
