Entries are now open for the England Team trials on Sunday, 9 July at the Royal Albert Dock, London for the Home International Rowing Regatta
The 2023 Home International Rowing Regatta – between the Home Countries of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland – will take place on Saturday, 22 July at Lough Rinn, County Leitrim, Ireland.
The England Team will comprise 64 athletes as follows:
Junior Women: 4 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain
Junior Men: 4 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain
Senior Women: 2 Para Scullers (1 PR1/PR2 and 1 PR3), 1 Lightweight Sculler, 3 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain
Senior Men: 2 Para Scullers (1 PR1/PR2 and 1 PR3),1 Lightweight Sculler, 3 Scullers, 10 Sweep Rowers, 1 Coxswain
All athletes will race a minimum of twice with the majority racing thee times.
Eligible* crews, scullers and coaches can seek selection for the England Team via these open trials for all senior and some junior boats (some junior boats will be selected via Under 19 GB Rowing Team Crew Formation). Entries for these trials are now open on BROE2 and close at 12:00 (noon) on Thursday, 6 July 2023.

England crews for the Home International Rowing Beach Sprints will be selected at the British Rowing Beach Sprint Championships on 29-30 July. Entries for these are also currently open on BROE2 and close on 17 July 2023.
Representing England is a unique development opportunity for both rowers and coaches wishing to gain international experience. For some, it could be the first step to representing Great Britain.
British Rowing is responsible for the selection of individuals and crews representing England only. See section 3a British Rowing: Articles of Association. Teams for Scotland and Wales are selected by Scottish Rowing and Welsh Rowing respectively.
