Abingdon School – Head Coach and Assistant Director of Rowing
Abingdon School is seeking to recruit a high calibre and experienced coach for September 2023 to take charge of the 1st VIII and Senior squad and to elevate the performance of the School’s 1st VIII.
The coach will have a proven and consistent track record of high performance at both national and, ideally, international level. They will hold a key role in coaching throughout the club, supporting the Director of Rowing in maintaining and building on the School’s reputation as one of the country’s best rowing schools.
The successful candidate will have experience in securing top level results and medals at Junior, Club or Senior level, ideally producing medal performances, finals and wins at the main national events and coaching crews through to the weekend at Henley Royal Regatta. They will have experience of a range of performance environments, including Junior, Club, U23 and Senior. Some experience of GB international programs would be desirable.
