Veteran Fours Head – Secretary (Volunteer)

The Veteran Fours Head is looking for a new Secretary to manage some of the administrative elements of running the annual race on the Tideway.

The Veteran Fours Head is run annually on the Tideway. The Organising Committee are all volunteers and more information about the event can be found on the competition’s website.

The Veteran Fours Head is held on the same weekend each year as the Fours Head. Normally the Veteran event is held on the Sunday unless tide times dictate that the Fours Head is better run on the Sunday.

The key responsibilities of the Secretary role are:

• Writing minutes of committee meetings, normally 3 a year held virtually
• Making necessary event bookings including Chiswick pier house, safety boats, radios and megaphones, medics and Putney Pier access
• Dealing with any other correspondence as required.
