Team Keane Sculling School – Sessional Rowing Coach

Team Keane is looking to recruit sessional rowing coaches to work alongside their senior Coaches providing coaching to Local School groups and after school rowing clubs.

This is a position for a Sessional Rowing Coach experienced in all aspects of teaching rowing within a team of coaches.

Key personal qualities that the person employed would possess:

  • Be an enthusiastic and energetic person with a love of rowing.
  • Has a sense of pride in delivering a professional and high standard of coaching.
  • A holistic approach to working with juniors.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Be able to work using your own initiative.
  • A desire to be part of and helping to create a successful rowing school.
  • A good communicator.
  • An efficient administrator.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • A sense of individual responsibility for the safety of all.

Experience is not necessary as training can be provided, however a ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for sports, fitness and working with children is crucial.

This is a physical job and will require you to be outside in all weather conditions.

If you have the following it would be great, however not essential as we can provide training for you to acquire these credentials

  • Coastal Power boat licence.
  • First Aid training.
  • Welfare Training.
