We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic assistant rowing coaches to join our coaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to develop their coaching skills and contribute to the success of our rowing program.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead squad coaches in planning and delivering training sessions.
- Provide technical coaching to rowers of various skill levels.
- Support rowers during competitions and regattas.
- Help in organising rowing events and activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all rowers during training and events.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues to the Head Coach.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in rowing, either as a coach or an athlete.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for rowing and a commitment to helping athletes achieve their best.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings on weekends.

We are committed to the professional development of our coaching staff. If needed, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the attainment of their British Rowing Level 2 Rowing Qualification, with guidance and financial contributions provided by the club.
