Wolfson College Boat Club, Oxford – Women’s Assisstant Coach

Wolfson College Boat Club seeks a qualified assistant coach to coach weekly outings, assist our head coach in developing training plans and support our squad in developing their rowing skills further.

We are looking for a coach that is available to coach between two and five outings per week. Outings will either take place in the early (6:15-8:00am) or in the late slot (7:50-9:30am). Ideally we would be looking for someone that is available in both of those time slots.

We are one of the most competitive college clubs on the river and provide a strong training programme for around 40 active rowers on the women side. For bumps campaigns we typically have three to four boats racing. Currently all four of our boats have a starting position in the senior divisions. We are looking for someone that can support us in our ambitious, highly competitive pursuits for bumps racing.

Ideally we are looking for someone with prior coaching experience or strong rowing experience, and someone who can both coach novice and senior outings. We train all year around (not only in term time), and attend many regattas outside of term time. Ideally we would be looking for someone that could support us throughout the whole year and fits into our culture.
