Four Nations Coastal Sculling Series
This national series of coastal sculling competitions offers prizes for overall winners – in both Beach Sprint and Endurance formats.
The competitions are organised by British Rowing, Scottish Rowing, Welsh Rowing and Jersey Rowing Club.
Swift Racing UK are supporting the entire Series with boats and equipment.

Enduro Racing
Round 1 – English Coastal Championships, Whitby (20 April 2025)
Round 2 – Welsh Coastal Championships, Saundersfoot (7 June 2025)
Round 3 – Jersey Coastal Championships, St Helier (20-22 June 2025)
Round 4 – Scottish Coastal Championships, TBA (16-17 August 2025)
Enduro Points System
An overall trophy will be awarded for the highest ranked male and highest ranked female from points accrued across any boat classes raced across the four events.
Points are awarded as follows:
- 10 points for a win
- 6 for second
- 4 for third
- 2 for fourth
- 1 for fifth.
Points will be awarded to those racing in coastal single, double and/or quad races involving senior crews.
Where a crew entered in a Masters or Junior category are racing within the same race as senior crews, and finishes in the top 5 overall, they will receive the points for their ranking, plus an additional 5 point bonus. Where Masters or Junior races are run separately, and not integrated with the seniors, no points will be available towards the overall trophies.

Round 1b – Welsh Beach Sprint Championships (U19), Fishguard (28 June 2025)
Round 2 – English Beach Sprint Championships, Studland, Dorset (17-18 May)
Round 3 – Jersey Coastal Championships, St Helier (20-22 June 2025)
Round 4 – Scottish Coastal Championships, TBA (16-17 August 2025)
Beach Sprints Points System
Overall trophy for the highest points scorer across the four events in the following categories:
- Coastal Men’s solo
- Coastal Women’s solo
- Coastal Junior Men’s solo
- Coastal Junior Women’s solo.
Points awarded as follows:
- 10 points for a win
- 6 for second
- 4 for third
- 2 for fourth
- 1 for beaten quarter finalists.
Bonus 5 points will be awarded to the time trial winner (where a time trial is run).
