Commonwealth Rowing Association Beach Sprint Championships
Bridgetown, Barbados, 21-23 November 2025

Introduction
The Commonwealth Rowing Association Beach Sprint Championships see Commonwealth Nations from around the world come together to compete. The 2025 competition will take place on Friday, 21 to Sunday, 23 November 2025 at Browne’s Beach, Carlisle Bay, Bridgetown, Barbados.
British Rowing is dedicated to helping athletes compete in the 2028 LA Olympics and beyond. We believe the Commonwealth Rowing Association Beach Sprint Championships are an excellent development opportunity for English athletes striving for future Olympic success and will send a team to represent England with these themes in mind.
Team Selection
We welcome and encourage athletes and coaches from all backgrounds who meet the eligibility requirements to represent England. Selection for the England Beach Sprint Team for the Commonwealth Rowing Association Beach Sprint Championships 2025 will take place through multiple events. Full information regarding the selection process is outlined in our selection policy below.
England Rowing receives talent funding from Sport England. To address inequalities and ensure equitable access, we are trialling a tiered financial support process based on confidential financial assessments for those requiring additional assistance. See Appendix B of the selection policy below for further information.

England Pathway
England Rowing and its Home International Rowing Teams are part of British Rowing’s England Pathway. As set out in Section 3a of the Articles of Association, British Rowing is responsible for the selection of individuals and crews representing England only. Teams for Scotland and Wales are selected by Scottish Rowing and Welsh Rowing respectively.
