Overage Juniors

A junior whose age band is higher than the age band for the school year group in which they have been placed may apply to compete at one age band lower

The conditions relating to this concession for British Rowing Affiliated Competitions are set out in the British Rowing Rules of Racing (2-3d and 2-3e).

Note:

  • This concession does not apply when the athlete is racing in single sculls, pairs or doubles.
  • It only applies to crew(s) who train and race in school age groups.
