Assistant Director of Rowing

Mount Albert Grammar School has a long and proud tradition of Rowing.  At the most recent Maadi Regatta we were the only school to have a crew in the final of both the Maadi and Levin Cup and we were the winners of the Springbok Shield.

The school is seeking an Assistant Director of Rowing.  The successful candidate will have the appropriate rowing background and experience to be able to assist with the coaching of the students on and off the water.

You will have sound technical knowledge and the ability to ensure this is implemented in all areas of training.   You must also have an appreciation of rowing coaching philosophy with a view to long term athlete development.  A registered teacher is preferred but not essential, please state your teaching subject.

This position is fixed term, until the end of the 2023 rowing season, with the possibility of it converting to a permanent position.  The start date is by negotiation. This is a full- time position, which includes morning and afternoon trainings as well as weekend regattas and trainings.
