British Rowing – Performance Programme Coordinator – Pathways

British Rowing is seeking a Performance Programme Coordinator to support its key pathway programmes that support the identification and development of future Olympic and Paralympic candidates.

Sitting within the GB Rowing Team’s Programme Support team, that underpins all of the full breadth of GB Rowing Team’s Olympic, Paralympic and Pathway Programmes, this role will provide support to British Rowing’s newly evolved Performance Development Academies and GB High Performance Academies. These programmes are embarking on a generational shift to broaden diversity and inclusion of rowing’s talent and development pathways, presenting the successful candidate with an opportunity to help them deliver the athletes and coaches who are the future of GB Rowing Team.

This role will also provide support to the Coastal and Beach Sprints activities within British Rowing. Beach Sprints in particular is a rapidly expanding discipline, with competitive opportunities for rowers at a domestic, Home International, Commonwealth and World level. The successful candidate will have the skills to add to the systems and processes that underpin success in this developing area.

If you have a strong administrative background, a methodical approach, and are passionate about working as part of a team to support the pathways of one of Britain’s most successful Olympic and Paralympic sports this could be the role for you. A keen interest in sport and a passion for ensuring opportunities exist for individuals from all backgrounds with the required talent will be an added advantage.

The role is based at British Rowing’s Headquarters in Hammersmith, London, with a start date from October 2023.

Salary: £26,000-£28,000
