Cantabrigian Rowing Club – Performance Boys Lead Coach
Cantabrigian Rowing Club is thrilled to announce the new role of Performance Boys Lead Coach to focus on the advanced training and development of more experienced boys, working alongside the existing junior rowing team.
As Cantabrigian Rowing Club continues to grow, we expanding the junior coaching team with a Performance Boys Lead Coach to focus on the advanced training and development of more experienced boys who are committed to additional training. This role involves working alongside the Junior Development Officer and the existing coach for the Performance Girls.
The detailed nature of the role will be built around the successful volunteer and their available time, so we do not have a specific set of requirements. Most of the activity takes place in Cambridge at the weekends and evenings.
Founded in 1950, Cantabrigian Rowing Club is a completely volunteer-run club that operates out of its own boat house Cambridge on the banks of the River Cam. It has a total of over 300 members and a lively junior rowing program that offers rowing to local children including a specific involvement with a large state sixth-form college. Our current Junior Development Officer will assist in the on-boarding of the new volunteer and guide the handover of these roles. We believe these volunteer positions offer a unique and fulfilling opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our junior rowing program. If you might be interested in any of these important roles, we would love to hear from you!
