Cheltenham College – Boathouse Assistant (zero hours)
Cheltenham College Boathouse seeks to appoint a reliable individual who can support the Boathouse Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Rowing programme. Experience in rowing or in coaching rowing is not essential to this role, but a strong work ethic and the ability to muck in where needed is crucial.
The Boathouse Assistant will assist the Boathouse Manager with loading and unloading the boats on to trailers either on sight or at race events or regattas, offering support to the coaches where needed and helping to get everything set up.
There may also be some light maintenance work that can be carried out at the Boathouse site, such as mowing the lawns and other small DIY projects, as well as helping the Boathouse Manager keep all the equipment in good working order.
This role would suit somebody who enjoys being outside and playing their part in a small, but close-knit team.
Applicants who do have coaching experience may wish to indicate this on their application forms if they would also like to be considered for a coaching role now or in the future.
