Coaches and Helpers wanted for Portugal 2022!

GoFigueira are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and capable people to employ as coaches at junior, intermediate and advanced levels, as well as helpers without coaching experience, to help run camps in Portugal for short term assignments throughout 2022.

 

You’ll get the chance to develop your coaching experience working with a wide range of ages and skill levels (or at least experience working on a camp in Portugal if you’re not a coach) and you’ll have fun while being based in a nice beach-town environment with time off to relax on the glorious beaches just a few minutes walk from the accommodation.   As if that was not enough, flights, accommodation and meals will be provided and compensation paid according to experience!

Safeguarding Statement:

All staff working on our camps will likely have some contact with children and will therefore be in regulated activity.   In all cases staff have responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all clients (of any age) and to adhere to and ensure compliance with GoFigueira’s safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and GoFigueira is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

All applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including checks with past employers or other professional associate (two references will be required) and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
