Director of Pathways – British Rowing

Can you drive the successful delivery of British Rowing’s first 5 connected Regional Hubs to open further pathways into the sport, diversify their appeal, and establish the precedent to expand this model across all regions?

British Rowing’s newly established Pathways Directorate will bring together the rower journey from grassroots to GB Rowing Team with the education, support and development for coaches to enable progression for the next generation of Olympic prospects regardless of background. Inspirational leadership from a proven individual with experience of high performance rowing and demonstrable experience of stakeholder management will be critical to its success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of British Rowing’s Sport England funded programmes, including their strategic oversight, operational delivery and financial accountability. This exciting opportunity has the potential to implement revolutionary change within the next two years. Executed correctly, the impact of this role could be felt throughout the sport and be integral to the success of British rowers and coaches at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games and beyond.
