Fulham Reach Boat Club – Session Coach (Paid)
Fulham Reach Boat Club is seeking a highly competent Session Rowing Coach to support our mission.
This role involves delivering quality rowing sessions, as part of a team of coaches, for adults and junior athletes. Sessions run daily from 7am until 8.45pm. Successful applicants will be expected to undertake at least one 7am pre-school session and one 7pm adult session weekly.
This is an on-site role located in Hammersmith.
Qualifications/Skills:
Candidates would ideally have a Level 2 RYA qualification and a Level 2 British Rowing Coaching Certification. Also beneficial is Level 2 Youth Work Certificate.
Further desirable skills and experience:
- experience working with young people aged from 14 to 18 years old
- excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback to help improve athletes’ performance
- attention to detail
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- good knowledge of safeguarding protocols
- an understanding of safety on the tidal Thames
- a commitment to enhancing equality, diversity and inclusion.
