GB Rowing Team/UK Sports Institute: Data Scientist
We are seeking a creative practitioner with experience working with various sources of data to share with coaches, support staff, and leadership teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of Great Britain’s most successful sporting teams. Reporting to the Head of Performance Support you have the chance to develop the Data strategy for British Rowing. Previous experience within rowing is not essential but a passion to learn more about the sport is.
We are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified practitioner who can work collaboratively in a demanding performance environment within an interdisciplinary support team. You will have specific expertise to deliver the insights that are visually and technically innovative. It is important to be accessible, approachable, and visible in this role to ensure that the needs of the end user are being addressed.
For you to succeed you will bring enthusiasm, creativity and energy to the role and have a genuine desire to help athletes achieve their performance aspirations.
