Hexham Rowing Club – Junior Rowing Coach

We are a friendly and successful local rowing club including Gold Medals at regional and national level.

We are seeking a Junior Rowing Coach to join our amazing section.

The successful experienced candidate will have energy and enthusiasm, be proactive and be able to work with large groups of Juniors (aged J13-J18). They will be able to develop excellent relationships with the young rowers, work in a multi-disciplinary team and must be able to help coach in a positive, fun, and creative way.

As well as being ready to work with and learn from others around them, they will also have previous or current experience in Rowing Coaching, as well through their own experience as an athlete.

• Coach (8+ hours a week) – Will also be required to attend regular events with the crews.
• Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications (Level 2 Rowing Coach or seeking to obtain this qualification)
