Infinity Boat Club – Head of Rowing

Infinity Boat Club seeks to appoint a special person as Head of Rowing who is excited by the prospect of building a school community rowing program in the North East of England.

At Infinity Boat Club we strongly believe rowing is a sport that can form and transform the character, resilience, and health of young people through the skills, teamwork, physical activity, and personal disciplines it fosters.

Our aim is to improve young lives in the Teesside area, by offering totally free access to the great sport of rowing.

About the role

As Head of Rowing you would have the responsibility of designing and delivering a competitive Junior rowing program, encompassing both water and land sessions. Our priority is to hire someone who is passionate about the sport of rowing, encouraging our cohort of athletes to balance both the competitive and recreational aspects of rowing.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • British Rowing Club Coach- Level 2 or above.
  • Previous experience of high-performance programs, whether as an individual or coach.
  • Proven positive leadership skills.
  • Willingness to help develop with our coaches and volunteers.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • RYA Powerboat Level 2 or similar certification.
  • Ability to help with day to day maintenance of our fleet of boats.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Valid driving licence with trailer/ towing experience.
