Kingston Rowing Club – Assistant Junior Rowing Coach

Kingston is seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic individual to take on the assistant rowing coach role of the Junior program.

The position will involve many opportunities of developing young athletes and taking potential crews and athletes to guide and manage at such regattas such as National Schools, Henley Royal Regatta and Henley Women’s Regatta.

Kingston has a large junior program of 80 athletes in which it is very excited and supportive of and has had much success in recent years, and hopes to further it still.

You will also get to work alongside the Head of Junior Rowing in season planning and creating training programs.

The Role will be part time. Applicants would be expected to work weekends whether that be training or regattas.

Would be required to attend the clubs rowing camp.

All candidates must have a safeguarding with working with children, or willingness to get one after starting.

Must have a general knowledge of rowing and the UK rowing system.

Preferably has 2 seasons of coaching experience or years as a competitive rower.
