About Us

Maidenhead Rowing Club is based on our own stretch of the River Thames, with a large clubhouse and enviable facilities. We have a top quality fleet of boats which are well maintained and renewed with an annual replacement budget, our gym and cardio space is large enough for whole squad training, and we have a function hall, bar and well equipped kitchen. The club has trailers and towing vehicles to enable racing locally and nationally.
We have a large, stable and well organised junior squad across all ages. We have seen recent growth in our competitive adult membership, particularly in seniors, and our Recreational and Masters squads are keen to improve both technique and fitness as well as race.

The club is friendly and sociable and promotes inclusivity, making rowing available to all who want to come and enjoy the sport with us, including celebrating our 150th Anniversary in 2026.

You will have competed or coached in a successful squad at a high level, and will have experience of what it takes to lead a squad or group to win at a club and national events. You will have a solid understanding of how to develop both juniors and adults to reach their potential.
