Molesey BC – Performance Coach
Molesey Boat Club is seeking a Performance coach to work as part of the Senior Coaching Team.
The Performance Coach will work alongside the Head Coach to help lead the rowing programme to be successful at a Club and National level, encourage a high performing culture and ensure that that the squad is fully integrated and aligned with the wider Club strategy.
Molesey Boat Club has a proud history of GB Rowing selections and Henley Royal Regatta wins, and we hope that the Performance Coach will help with the delivery of these projects.
The applicant will be not only be asked to assist but also to take the lead on sessions, selection and projects throughout the racing season.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the coaching team in the organisation and running of sessions on and off the water.
- Work alongside all coaches at MBC and the committee to help grow the Club.
- To help reinforce the culture, technical model and performance targets of the Senior squad.
- Assist in the day-today management and maintenance of the Boat Club.
- To assist in the implementation of the Club recruitment strategy.

- This is a 6 month role, with the option of extending into the 2024/25 season.
- The role is approximately 24-28 hours per week and will include weekends and public holidays.
- The role will commence at the earliest date possible.
