Performance Programme Coordinator – Pathways (Fixed Term Maternity Cover)
Due to maternity leave of a current team member, the GB Rowing Team (GBRT) is seeking a Performance Programme Coordinator to support its highly successful Pathway programmes. Performance Programme Coordinators form part of GBRT’s Programme Support Team who underpin the team’s frontline activities with World Class support.
This post plays a significant role in supporting the delivery of the GBRT U19 programme. The U19 Programme forms part of a wider Pathways programme that supports young and talented individuals with the aspiration of representing Great Britain to develop, train and ultimately race. The role will also support GB Rowing Team’s Coastal Rowing and Beach Sprints programmes, an alternative Pathway to its flat water counterpart. There will also be some support to Start, British Rowing’s primary Talent ID Programme.
The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time when the GB Rowing Team is seeking to evolve its talent and development pathways to broaden their diversity and inclusion. A keen interest in sport and a passion for ensuring opportunities exist for individuals from all backgrounds with the required talent will be an added advantage for someone with the necessary administrative skills, methodical approach and willingness to take on new challenges.
The role is based at British Rowing’s Headquarters in Hammersmith, London, and the start date for the role is 1 December 2022. If available, it would be advantageous for the successful candidate to attend the Early Identification Trials in Boston, Lincolnshire, on 12 November 2022.
