Putney Town RC – Assistant Senior Men’s Rowing Coach

Assistant men’s coach working alongside coaching team and interested in funded British Rowing Level 2 qualification

Putney Town are looking for an assistant coach for our Senior Men’s squad to help this summer season and beyond. Having doubled in size since this time last year, our Senior Men’s squad is now looking to continue growing and improving on the water with the help of an assistant coach.

The role would primarily focus on weekend water outings (7:30-11:30am both days) but with opportunity for occasional weekday evenings as days get longer. The position is voluntary, but the club would help to partially or entirely fund a British Rowing Level 2 Qualification for the coach (dependent on commitment), as well as provide mentoring opportunities from our more senior coaches. This role is ideal for those with rowing experience but not necessarily coaching experience and could be an ideal way to get into this side of the sport. RYA L2 helpful but not essential.
