Seeclub Stansstad, Switzerland – Director of Rowing

Seeclub Stansstad is seeking a head of rowing to lead recruitment initiatives and coach youth, recreational and performance sport in our small but mighty club in the heart of Switzerland.

You’re a match for this opportunity if you:

  • are passionate about rowing with a strong foundation in the sport
  • have coaching experience and it is part of your career path / long term vision
  • have developed and implemented recruitment strategies OR have experience in recruitment & retainment
  • believe in rowing as a lifetime sport and the inclusion of all age-groups and abilities as being central to your leadership philosophy and engagement initiative.

Additional expectations include:

  • relocation (with organisational support from the club)
  • motor boat licence OR motivation to pursue full-licensing
  • trailer driving licence
  • coaching certificate.

Non-requirements but assets:

  • German knowledge or willingness to learn
  • boat rigging and repairs experience OR curiosity.

  • founded in 1922
  • total of 200 members of every age and level
  • boat house built 1965, fully renovated in 2021.
