Seeclub Stansstad (Switzerland) – Rowing Coach
Seeclub Stansstad is looking for a club coach for its small, well-positioned club in the heart of Switzerland. The main task is to further build up the Junior team and supervise them during training sessions and regattas. In addition, we want to expand the range of technical training courses for adults at the club.
You’re a match for this opportunity if you:
- are passionate about rowing with a strong foundation in the sport
- have coaching experience and it is part of your career path / long term vision
- have developed and implemented recruitment strategies OR have – experience in recruitment & retainment
- believe in rowing as a lifetime sport and the inclusion of all age-groups and abilities as being central to your leadership philosophy
- bring leadership skills and club engagement.
Additional expectations include:
- motor boat license OR motivation to pursue full-licensing
- trailer driving license
- coaching certificate
- relocation (with organizational support)
- German knowledge or the willingness to reach the level A2 within your first year
- boat rigging and repairs experience OR curiosity.
It’ll be a bonus if:
- you love the mountains → hiking, biking, cycling, skiing, xc skiing all at your fingertips
- you love jumping in a beautifully clear lake after a sunny coaching session
- you love cheese, chocolate and don’t mind paying 5 CHF for a really good coffee.
Start date: ideally as soon as possible or by agreement
