St Catherine’s College BC, Oxford – Men’s Rowing Coach
St Catherine’s College Boat Club (Oxford) are looking to appoint a coach for our men’s squad for the remainder of this rowing season (2023/2024) with the hope for continuation into subsequent academic years.
Essential requirements and role details:
- Committed availability for the remainder of the current Oxford academic year during term time (until June 2024). Occasional sessions may be rescheduled outside of an academic term with prior agreement from the coach.
- During term, approximately 6 sessions per week (including water and land sessions) with 2-3 water sessions before 9am on weekdays.
- Ability to coach both experienced and novice rowers.
- Develop training plans (both on and off water) for the entire squad.
- Provide accurate and relevant feedback to both rowers and coxes.
Desirable:
- Prior coaching experience.
- Familiarity with Oxford rowing and Bumps racing.
- Availability to join us for spring training camp (~ 1 week during the Easter holidays).
- Be available to attend all regattas we compete in (both internal and external).

Salary: £1500 per academic term
