Tormead School – Session Rowing Coach

Tormead School is based in the heart of Guildford, Surrey. We are now entering our fourth year of our rowing programme. We have rowing available to all pupils in years 7 to 13. We row out of the Weybridge Ladies Amateur Rowing Club every weekday afternoon and Saturday and Sundays in both curriculum and extra-curriculum sessions.

We are looking to hire session coaches interested in supporting and developing rowing at Tormead, particularly with our weekend programme, who will:

  • Coach all year groups from Year 7 through to Year 13 during term time as directed by the Head of Rowing where needed
  • Coach in a fun and dynamic way
  • Feel free to question and advance current thinking on how to teach rowing.
