Weybridge Ladies Amateur Rowing Club – Rowing coach – Learn to Row courses

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Rowing Coach to lead our 8-week Learn to Row courses. You will be responsible for guiding beginners through the basics of rowing, ensuring they gain confidence and competence by the end of the course.

We are a small, dedicated ladies-only rowing club committed to introducing women to the sport of rowing and helping them develop the skills needed to row both competitively and recreationally.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver an 8-week rowing program tailored to beginners.
• Teach fundamental rowing techniques, safety, and boat handling.
• Provide individual feedback and support to ensure progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Ensure participants are ready to row independently by the end of the course.

This position will start in September but we plan to run 2-3 courses over the course of the next year. This is also a paid position.

Salary: Dependent on experience
