Wimbledon High School – Rowing Coach (Equipment)

Wimbledon High School is looking for an experienced Rowing Coach (Equipment) to play a key role within our ambitious rowing programme.

You will support the Head of Rowing (HoR) with the overall running of the boat club, including the management and maintenance of equipment and the boat fleet. You will set the J15s squad training programmes, organise school holiday rowing and training camps, as well as provide inspirational coaching that facilitates the development of our young rowers. In the absence of the HoR, you will also be confident in your ability to run our thriving boat club.

We are looking for a strong and inspirational leader with previous experience of coaching rowing within a school. You will be able to undertake minor boat repairs when necessary. You will also need a clean driving licence. Having a minibus certification and experience of trailer towing boats is desirable, as you will be assisting with transport to the boat club and competition venues. Coaching qualifications and experience on the Tideway is desirable, but not essential.
