Wimbledon High School – Rowing Coach (Self-employed)

This is an opportunity for a self-employed Rowing Coach to play a key role supporting the running of a hugely ambitious, thriving and motivated Boat Club at one of London’s top day schools.

Rowing is a popular sport at Wimbledon High School, with Wimbledon High School Boat Club a key part of the school community and the community on the river! In just five seasons, Head of Rowing, Gillian Lindsay (Olympic silver medallist and World Champion) has taken Wimbledon High School Boat Club to great heights, including the winning of silver and bronze medals at the National Schools’ Regatta, participation in the Henley Royal Regatta qualifiers and numerous wins in more local events.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of the sport with successful experience of coaching rowing and ideally, of rowing at a high-performance level.

Hours will vary, but the successful candidate must be available to coach Monday to Saturday (term time) between 4.30pm and 6.30pm and one day each weekend between 12pm and 5pm. Coaching rates are competitive, with a start date of as soon as possible.
