Yarm School – Rowing Coach (Part-Time)

We are looking to recruit a part time, passionate and knowledgeable female Rowing Coach into our rowing department with immediate effect. This will be a 1 year fixed term position for a budding Rowing Coach looking for an exciting opportunity here at Yarm School.

Generally the role involves coaching games and activity sessions throughout the week and on Saturday mornings, with pupils from age 12 -18 years, with varying ranges of experience and skill level. The successful Rowing Coach will be expected to attend competition throughout the year as well as 3x week long training camps.

The successful candidate will be working directly with our new Head of Rowing who joins us from the USA, and will ensure the smooth running of sessions, development of skills and continued success of Yarm School Boat Club.

The role is for 16 hours per week plus attendance at regattas at weekends, for 40 weeks per year. The salary will be £12,390 – £13,579 depending on experience.
